5th Grade Film Project Reminder!
Esteemed parents of Frontier Academy! This is a quick reminder about the upcoming 5th Grade Film Project Concert. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on! Here are some quick bullet points to remember.
-All of the kids will perform live music during the concert interspersed with movies created by each class. The movies will depict different chapters from the novel Don Quixote by Miguel Cervantes. Please ask your child what job they performed in the creation of the films so that you can pay attention to that particular aspect as you watch the movies. We hope you will enjoy seeing this classic tale from a 5th Grader’s perspective.
-Where: The Union Colony Civic Center in Downtown Greeley. 701 10th Ave. in Greeley. Admission is free so don’t worry about buying tickets.
-When: Tuesday, March 10th @ 6:30 pm. The lobby will open at 5:30 pm and children should be in the Green Room which is on the north side of the Auditorium by 6:00 pm. Just ask one of the UCCC staff to direct you to the Green Room when you arrive.
-Dress for the concert can just be our standard Dress Code, but the
students have been instructed to wear as much black as possible in
addition to the Dress Code. Navy Blue is great as well. We want the
students to blend into the shadows while parents watch the films. Keep in mind that this is a guideline. No child has ever been held out of a concert for what they wore.
-After the concert there will be instructions for parents to make sure you reunify with your student easily and efficiently. Once the curtain closes, please remain in your seat briefly so that Mr. Long can let you know the plan.
