Robotics Club

FIRST Lego League is a powerful program that engages children in robotics and STEM concepts by providing hands-on learning and competitive challenges. Students will experiment together to successfully build and program a robot with their team, as well as discover and solve real-world problems through a research project and presentation. Students of all interests and backgrounds are encouraged to add their strengths to a FIRST Lego team!

This club is open to K-5th grade students, but spaces are very limited. The cost is $80.00 for the 2017-18 academic year. Meetings will take place Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-7:45am from August to May, with at least one competition/exhibition per school year in the Greeley/Evans area. This event will be an all-day Saturday adventure, time and place TBA (sometime between late October and Thanksgiving).

Parent volunteers are urged to participate! The K-3 team is still in need of 1-2 more coaches in order to be viable, so please contact Holly Stimson if you are able and willing to help. No prior knowledge or experience with robotics is required--just enthusiasm for technology and science, and a willingness to mentor kids!

Contact Holly Stimson for more information about this exciting club and to reserve your spot!
