Frontier offers two drama classes during the school day for high schoolers. These classes are laboratory style, not production-based. They allow students to grow in vocal techniques, movement skills, theatre concepts and overall acting ability. Mrs. Elens teaches these courses.

Each year we have three opportunities for students to be involved in extra-curricular, after-school theatre productions. These productions are led by Mr. Settje along with the assistant directors: Mrs. Elens, Ms. Grove & Mrs. Sherman. Students don’t need to be enrolled in the drama classes to participate. In the Fall there is a High School Play and Middle School Play. In the Spring, we produce a combined MS and HS musical which is our largest cast and largest theatre work. All extra-curricular productions require an audition. Audition information and a calendar of dates can be obtained from Mrs. Elens. Contact via email: ElensS or by calling 970-339-9153
